Timur Sobolev

My name is Timur Sobolev and I am a PhD Candidate in the Finance group at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. My research interests lie at the intersection of Finance and Political Economy. My primary work concerns corporate governance and ESG with a focus on social welfare. 

Prior to my PhD I received my BSc in Economics at Moscow State University.  

I am on the job market in the 2023-2024 academic year
